Warsaw Philharmonic was founded in 1901 on the initiative of the group of Polish aristocrats, financiers and representatives of the world of music, including: Natalia, Stefan and Stanislaw Lubomirski, Maurice and Thomas Zamoyski, Wladyslaw Tyszkiewicza, Leopold Julian Kronenberg, Louis Grossman, Emil Młynarski, Alexander Rajchman and Marian Sokołowskiego.Gmach institutions - in an eclectic style, modeled on the Paris Opera - designed by architect Charles Kozłowski.Koncert inaugural Philharmonic took place on November 5, 1901.
