About Batu Caves Tour
This tour covers two unique and attractive places of worship in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. Your first visit is to the spectacular Tian Hou Chinese Temple*. This striking 6-tier temple is dedicated to the Goddess Tian Hou the Heavenly Mother and depicts elements of Buddhism Taoism and Confucianism. Next up the Batu Caves - a massive lime-stone outcrop. Its interior is home to a Hindu shrine lined with different deities. The shrine is set deep inside the high caverns. Youd have to climb 272 steps to reach it. On the way back visit a local Malaysian Batik Centre to see how the fabric is being designed and printed.
