Krakow Barbican

The most northerly part of the city's fortifications in Cracow. It was built in the years 1498-1499 during the reign of King John Albert in fear of Turkish invasion Walachian-threatening Cracow after the defeat of Bukovina. Currently Barbican is a branch of the Historical Museum of Krakow.
